LOK HUP BEGINNERS CLASS
As of last fall, we introduced a new beginners class for those interested in learning Lok Hup. This class is suited to those who have completed at least one 108-move Tai Chi class. The class started as of Sept 20, 2017 - every Wednesday evening 7:00 - 8:30pm at Nanaimo Church of Christ.
A big thank you to Mid Island Tai Chi Club members for your generosity in the last few years, to provide fresh food for kids attending Georgia Avenue Elementary School in Nanaimo. Last year, the club donated another $250 for the school's Christmas hamper program, as well as $250 to SPCA.
To ensure that all our classes and workshops are accessible to everyone, Mid-Island Tai Chi Club has a by-donation policy. Some students opt to donate an amount each time they drop in, whereas others donate once a month regardless of how many and what type of classes they attend.
Mid-Island Tai Chi Club - Nanaimo - is the first local club in the Canadian Tai Chi Academy that is sustained through donations.
